About the position

As Media Manager you will support the media agenda both internally and with our external partners. You will cover our European markets (including UK) and report directly to the Head of Media. Your goal is to drive the most effective and efficient media strategy utilizing your skills in media planning, strategy, and commercials. As a key member of the European Upfield media team youll be responsible for leading each local market team to create and deploy breakthrough media plans. This role covers all media channels, from digital, to out-of-home, to social and digital

You will also drive the media measurement agenda in conjunction with the insights team. Youll be responsible for maximizing the impact of all external media partner relationships- both through relationship and direction with the external partners and organizing the internal organization for success.

Key projects for this role involve:

• Monitoring and shepherding media plans from brief to approval in all local markets, adhering to the media planning principles, and contributing to media planning sessions and centralized overviews
• Building a monthly learning wrap up and presenting back to local markets, agencies and brand teams with actionable learnings that can be shared and re-applied
• Contributing to finding solutions with local markets to ensure media plans go live on time and on strategy.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

As Media Manager you have a strong sense of ownership as well as good leadership skills.

You have good experience managing external partners as well as internal stakeholders, and coaching them to success

In this role, strong knowledge of media fundamentals is required, and you need to have good foundation in media planning and buying. Additionally, you have strong media KPI foundation

We work with media buying agencies and external partners. You will be comfortable checking, approving and finalizing their plans, and ensuring the media strategy comes to life.

You have curiosity and self driven desire to learn about new media channels and consumer connection strategies.

You are comfortable working with an international central team, and with Upfield and agencies teams across Europe.

You are happy to work in a fast-paced environment, with real performance goals that lead to advancement.
