Overall:

You will be offered the opportunity to work on a global project initiative within the Purchasing department of Adhesives Technologies in our Amsterdam office. The project will focus on the important digital trend within Purchasing, and aims to harmonize, standardize and implement various documents cross-regionally, as e.g. related to scouting, contracting and/or sourcing.

YOUR ROLE
  • You will work in close collaboration with an international and global Purchasing team and will be directly coached by the Purchasing director for CM/TG in the Amsterdam office.
  • Digital purchasing is a clear trend, opening the door for a short-term more-efficient-purchasing-management.
  • You will assist global experts in discussing, evaluating and consolidating various regional market data collection documents into final standardized global models.
  • You will ensure a systematic and structured tracking of document setups from related purchasing and supply chain colleagues.
  • You will analyze, evaluate, support and advice for possible improvements, leading to cross-regional most efficient monitoring templates for digital-ready market information collection.
  • Contracting is the essential and final responsibility step of Purchasing after market-scouting, sourcing and negotiation, it contributes to a legal frame in mutual agreements during the business term.
  • You will apply a structured method for updating ‘formal’ supplier contracts from all region
  • You will be responsible for communicating and tracking approval of suppliers and get stakeholder commitments on any change requests of suppliers
  • You will get in contact with all regions and various stakeholders and the project will contribute to a very large insight in Purchasing environment internal and external.

YOUR SKILLS
  • Bachelor or Masters in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.
  • Ability to multi-task in a structured way, proactive and work independently with a sense of ownership.
  • Good analytical, presentation, communication and influencing skills
  • Motivation to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents
  • Experience with MS-Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English (written, oral)
  • True team player: team results matter more than an individual agenda
  • Available to start from April 2024, full time, hybrid.
