Within the Global Planning Excellence team we are looking for a Supply Chain Excellence Lead. This position is responsible to drive and enable the Business Groups (BG’s) and Customer Supply Chains (CSC’s) to realize our product portfolio goals in FC. Next to this, you will be responsible for supporting the BG’s and CSC’s on their way to standardization and creating a performance mindset via our OWOW program.
This role requires an appetite for research, creative problem solving and coaching. The primary objectives involve developing and maintaining tools and processes for the business that can help simplify their BG’s or CSC’s mission. This role directly impacts our P&L delivery for FC in terms of cost and cash.Wat we vragen
- Bachelor or Master degree in supply chain management, business management or a related field;
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Supply Chain, Commercial or Data & Analytics roles;
- Experience in managing highly complex projects and the ability to influence a broad variety of senior stakeholders with conflicting interests;
- Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel: Expertise in using MS Excel for data analysis, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data visualization, and data modeling;
- Competency in Power BI: Strong experience with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports;
- Experience in a global environment is preferred;
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different functions and geographies;

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Excellence Lead to join our global supply chain team. This pivotal role encompasses two main objectives: Product Portfolio Management and OWOW. You will be responsible to drive and enable the Business Groups (BG’s) and Customer Supply Chains (CSC’s) to realize our product portfolio goals in FC. Next to this, you will be responsible for supporting the BG’s and CSC’s on their way to standardization and creating a performance mindset via our OWOW program.
Though our OWOW program we want to become the #1 dairy supply chain. We will do this by focusing on performance, creating better lives for our shopfloor/planners and provide them with the required standards and tools. As this program is new within our Planning domain you have the flexibility to shape this together with your excellence and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Portfolio Management;
- Own and maintain primary dashboarding solutions for product portfolio management, serving as the liaison between business stakeholders and data solutions;
- Translate business requirements into actionable insights and reports, ensuring alignment with global and business group strategies;
- Conduct user training sessions to promote widespread adoption of data solutions and establish consistent reporting practices across global and business group teams;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate MAKE complexity insights into product portfolio decisions, enhancing strategic decision-making processes.
OWOW
- Set up the program together with your business and excellence partners;
- Define the tier meeting set up including relevant KPI’s;
- Define how to run loss & waste analysis within the planning domain.
Other Responsibilities:
- Serve as a global data analyst, assisting cross-functional stakeholders with their product portfolio dashboard requirements and data-driven decision-making processes;
- Share best practices, new developments, trends and provide the community a platform to share experiences;
- Define roadmap for Supply Chain Portfolio teams for standard ways of working;
- Linking pin between IT vision / industry developments in AI and Supply Chain Portfolio goals.

You will be part of a team of 10 (functional) project leads and managers within the field of Demand planning, Supply planning, Supply Chain Portfolio and Customer care, all reporting to the Planning Excellence Director. The Planning Excellence team is part of the Global Operational Excellence & Digital team and we are based in Amersfoort, Netherlands.
The Planning Excellence team is responsible for increasing operational performance through the design and deployment of Performance Improvement Standards - both systems and processes. We also drive the growth of capabilities of our business partners and heavily work together in achieving this.Contact
