About the Role

The Marketplace vertical is the glue that binds all parts of our business to ensure we deliver on our promise of a reliable service. As the global HCV Marketplace lead, you will be responsible for the strategy and plan to ensure we deliver a flawless experience for riders and drivers across B2C, B2B and Airports. You will achieve this mission through your own team, and through close collaboration with Regional Operations and Tech teams that are driving towards the same goal.

This role requires a master problem solver with a strong analytical background and sound business acumen. You will be an excellent collaborator that can effectively work across teams and timezones to ensure a healthy marketplace.

What the Candidate Will Do
  • Develop the strategy for how we setup, manage and optimise HCV operations
  • Design & manage the launch process to ensure flawless execution
  • Build processes & systems to ensure an everyday reliable service
  • Design systems to manage risk, fraud and mitigate service disruptions
  • Develop tooling & processes to empower teams to better manage the marketplace
  • Find efficiencies and scale / outsource processes to reduce cost & improve quality
  • Drive alignment on the strategy & rally teams to deliver for priority markets and segments
  • Be a trusted thought partner to Ops & Tech teams
  • Be the subject matter expert and set the global standards
What the Candidate Will Need - Basic Qualifications -
  • 6+ years of experience in a high pace, data driven organisation
  • Excellent data and analytical skills (including SQL, Python, Tableau)
  • Sound business acumen and the ability to balance big picture thinking with practical solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications -
  • Hands on program management experience on complex cross functional initiatives
  • Experience managing and motivating a high performing team
