Regional Communications Europe is part of the newly formed Global Branding and Marketing Communications organization embedded within Corporate Affairs. The Regional Communications department in Europe has a staff of 8 employees, working on several sites and offices across Europe. The department collaborates with and advises regional Corporate Function leads or Manufacturing/EHSS leads to develop and execute internal and external communications strategies, plans and communications policies.

You will intern at Manufacturing Site Communications in Geleen and support the Sr. Communications Business Partner - Site Geleen. The Sr. Communications Business Partner is the focal point for Corporate Functions and Site Communications to develop and execute internal and external communications strategies & plans to support business objectives. Additionally, works with Corporate Functions to ensure alignment with global communications initiatives and/or creation of region-specific communications strategies. Manufacturing Site Communications is instrumental in ensuring that the information needs of manufacturing site users are met, recognizing the different channels needed to reach this audience.

We offer a diverse internship within the department Corporate Affairs. You will have the opportunity to participate fully in all activities related to internal and external communication. This includes tasks such as writing and editing articles, publishing messages, and developing various campaigns and communications tools. You report to the Sr. Communications Business Partner Europe - Site Geleen.

The place of employment is Geleen. SABIC has a Working From Home policy (1 to 2 days per week). This policy can also be coordinated for the internship in consultation with the Sr. Communications Business Partner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong in both written and verbal communication in Dutch as well as proficient in English;
• Bachelor or Master in Communication (and Marketing) studies and looking for a traineeship;
• You are curious and investigative;
• You have strong writing skills and think critically and creatively;
• You have a hands-on mentality and work structured;
• You have good organizational sensitivity and a healthy dose of positivity and enthusiasm;
• You are able to connect with others easily and can adapt well in an international environment.
