Program Director - Digital Transformation

In this exciting new role, you will be become part of our recently founded Digital Portfolio & Compliance Management Group. You will set-up and manage critical IT programs for NXP’s Digital Transformation Program. You are an all-round program manager that is comfortable with technology driven transformations in alignment with business goals and whose knowledge is not limited to a single business domain. You are confident and experienced in Executive Management alignment and reporting.

This role will be report to the VP Digital Portfolio & Compliance Management, IT lead Digital Transformation

Job Responsibility:

• Realization of Business initiatives that are part of NXP’s Digital Transformation roadmap. After building the Digital foundation, NXP pushes forward in a number of strategic business areas. The business roadmap will need to be broken down into tangible initiatives.
• Excellent cross collaboration with key business- and IT-stakeholders - incl. external parties - throughout the program life cycle
• Taking ownership of program / project budgets and managing overall delivery of these (incl. their dependencies)
• Producing program reports for program boards, portfolio management, IT domain leads , and other stakeholders
• Planning future program activity, including consultations with project sponsors, analysis of requirements and arranging timeframes
• Managing program and project teams to ensure completion on time and within budget
• Identifying potential risks and threats to current and future programs , often in collaboration with senior managers
• Coordinating third party contributions throughout the life cycle of the program
• Maintain knowledge of the Project & Program Management , keep up with industry best practices

Job Qualification:

• A university degree with business management or IT orientation
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of IT and/or project management
• Program & Project Management experience in High Tech industries, environments. Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English), along with well-developed interpersonal skills
• Seasoned in stakeholder management
• Strong intercultural awareness combined with strong business acumen
• Driving results with an Innovation Mindset
• Strong Adaptability and Resilience
• Engaging People and consistently seeking for Self-Development
• Living in, or willing to relocate to either Eindhoven (Netherlands) or Austin, TX (USA)
• Flexible to travel (up to 25%)
