Group Information Security Manager

As Information Security Manager you contribute directly to BAM’s objectives by strengthening the design and effectiveness of the BAM Data Privacy, Information Security and Data Governance program. You will report to the Director Governance and Compliance (G&C) and be leading and supporting a network of Data Protection & Information Security officers within BAM.

Main activities:

• Manage the BAM Data Privacy & Information Security program and organisation, including the evaluation of residual risks against the risk appetite.
• Coordinate development and implementation of new/revised Data Privacy & Information Security related BAM Policies.
• Coordinate the activities with Data Protection & Information Security officers and other internal stakeholders, like Group Directors and Divisional management.
• Manage the completeness of Business and Data Privacy impact assessments (critical and non-critical systems) and ensure up to date specific data-inventories.
• Monitor external developments and relevant laws and regulations (such as on AI) and create and manage Data Protection & Information Security awareness training programs for employees and relevant 3rd parties.
• Perform and monitor the internal control assessments with respect Data Protection & Information Security at Group and Divisions, and report the results, risk exposures and improvement actions.
• Working with internal and external auditors as required.

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive and ambitious Information Security Manager. Continuous improvement is in your DNA, and you are able to self-motivate, organize, and take responsibility for own workload to ensure that deadlines and objectives are met. You dare to ask critical questions and continue to query where others stop. Working independently is not a problem for you, just as working in a team.

• You have a university degree, for example Information management and/or certificates like CISM.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience gained within information security risk management and privacy.
• You have strong and demonstrable knowledge of executing and leading Data Protection & Information Security programs at multinational firms and experience with Data Governance policies.
• You are a strong networker and with your excellent social skills you are a serious sparring partner within the organisation on various levels.
• You have fluent communication skills in both Dutch and English. (Inter)national travel can be required.

The position is based at the companys head office in Bunnik, the Netherlands. Besides that, you will visit the Divisions of BAM across in the Netherland, UK and Ireland and Belgium on a periodic basis. You will work within the G&C team; a small group team of specialists and functional leads within the Divisions.
