We are looking for an exceptional Risk Analyst - Decision Engine to join MODIFIs Risk Management Team in Amsterdam, reporting directly into Senior VP Analytics, to improve and calibrate our Decision Engine. You will be the connection between Risk and Engineering and instrumental in further improving the level of automation and decisioning.

Your impact:

• Analyse customer and transactional data to identify trends and patterns, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimise the decision engine
• Team-up with our agile squad that connects the Decision Engine with our core platform: Define roadmaps together, conduct daily standups and work hand in hand with the other team members
• Work closely with stakeholders such as Risk, Sales and Compliance, in order to define and prioritise feature requirements based on business needs and continuously improve our decision process
• Formulate and define clear parameters for our Decision Engine and create processes for continuous improvement
• Create comprehensive reports and effectively communicate the findings to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in credit risk assessment and decision automation

Requirements

These are your skills and attitude that you bring:

• Economics and/or business administration background.
• Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills with a high degree of analytical rigour.
• Experience developing conditional rule-flows, decision tables and decision trees
• Hands-on experience with Decision Engine tools, such as Camunda, Provenir or Taktile
• Scripting skills (e.g. in JavaScript or Python) are beneficial
• Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to turn business needs and economic developments into clear parameters .
• Experienced at effectively engaging stakeholders various arenas of the business
• Ability to multi-task and deal with challenging timelines in a dynamic environment
