We are looking for a Technician or Scientist Assay and Product Development to join our Assay and Product Development team. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to contribute our ongoing portfolio development by designing, developing and documenting wet-lab protocols in accordance with ICH guidelines. Furthermore, making use of your experience in wet-lab automation, you will be a driving force in the automation of existing and newly developed wet-lab workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, execute and analyze wet-lab experiments to optimize existing methods
• Develop and validate novel methods; together with the team and customer set requirements define and plan the work according to deliverables
• Write and update documentation (e.g. SOPs)
• Report, present and discuss your results to and with the team and customers
• Assist with lab management

Requirements

• You have a BSc/MSc degree (for technician position) or PhD (for scientist position) in Molecular Biology or equivalent
• You have >2 years experience with assay development and validation under QMS (ISO, GMP)
• You have hands-on experience with DNA-based methods such as NGS and ddPCR
• You have hands-on experience with integrating liquid handlers into laboratory processes
• You are result-driven, aiming for the highest quality
• You are customer-oriented and comfortable in a commercial R&D environment
• You are fluent in English, both in speaking and writing
• You enjoy working in a team
• You are available at least 32 hours per week
