Required Experience and/or Education:


  • Education: M.A.V.O, Kleinvaarbewijs is a must. SNUBA Certificate is a +
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience, including guest interaction. In addition, this position must be familiar with in the water activities and be able to assist customers as necessary. Warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.
  • Skills: Customer focused, service minded, positive attitude, flexible, basic computer skills, able to give speeches, organized and neat, excellent swimming skills including rescue swimming, problem solving skills, able to entertain guests of all ages.

Key qualifications

  • Act as a mate on Palm Pleasure, replacing staff as needed; serve as a bartender, provide snacks, conduct snorkeling lessons, guided tours, and entertainment; perform routine boat maintenance and dry dock repairs; ensure customer safety, perform head counts, and monitor guests in the water; provide First Aid/CPR when necessary.
  • Assist with welcome/safety speeches, snorkel instructions, and provide tour information to guests.
  • Work as a SNUBA instructor as needed.
  • Assist with storeroom control, issuing wristbands, and daily inventory for Palm Pleasure.
  • Help with equipment and storeroom inventory management.
  • Create and distribute weekly activity schedules.
  • Assist with guest check-ins and boarding.
  • Follow employee handbook guidelines and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
