Event Management Internship (non-thesis): Communication Center of Excellence

Are you a bachelor or master student with a Communications or Event Management background or related? Are you a team player in an ever-changing environment, with the ability to work independently as well? Do you want to help organize multiple live, online or hybrid events a year? Then supporting the Event Management Team can be a great internship for you!

Within the Communication department we have set up the “Communication Center of Excellence (CCoE)” for brand strategy and management, creative content, digital communications, operational excellence and event management. The event management team is part of the Communications Center of Excellence, responsible for activating the ASML brand by enabling and supporting our stakeholders in the delivery of the company strategy with consistent and engaging brand events experiences.

Your Assignment

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Project assistance during (pre) production and execution phase for live, hybrid and online events;

• Assistance tasks for event manager (request quotes from suppliers, schedule calls);

• Developing call sheets for suppliers;

• All kind of event logistics tasks (research of availability venues, suppliers) and event management supporting tasks (e.g. managing the event management team mailbox);

• Execution of tasks on site during set up and execution of an event.

Your profile

To be a perfect match with this internship, you:

• Are a bachelor/ master student in Event Management, Communications or similar;

• Have excellent communication, fluent in English (both verbal and written);

• You can work effectively and efficiently, and you can build and maintain a network and relationships;

• Show initiative, you are flexible, and you enjoy working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams;

• Have excellent planning and organizing abilities, and the ability to keep the overview.
  

This is a bachelor or master internship suitable for apprentice with a duration of 5+ months, starting as of September. You are available for 4 or 5 days per week.
Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship.
