Skills:

• C# .Net and Visual studio
• IIS WCF, MSMQ
• PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge of integration tools- Biztalk, Goanywhere MFT, Filebroker etc.

• Knowledge of basic security and networking principles
• Should have good analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Agile with Azure board working knowledge.

A Technical Application Manager in the IT department typically has the following job description:

• Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of applications, from planning and design to implementation, maintenance, and upgrades.

• Application Support: Provide expert support and troubleshooting for various applications, ensuring their availability, performance, and functionality.

• Integration Management: Manage integration processes with different business applications, this includes monitoring and debugging the failures.

• Server Management: Handle server configurations, maintenance, and migrations to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.

• Change Management: Implement and oversee change management processes related to application updates, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.

• Candidate should have experience in complete infrastructure preparation for new application rollout in windows environment as well as experience in server upgrade/migration.

• Experience of working on monitoring tools Vrops, Operation console, Biztalk360.

• Experience in support and change management processes with incident management tool e.g. ServiceNow

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of applications, processes, and configurations, and generate regular reports to communicate performance, issues, and improvements to stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
