You are responsible for maintaining the security operation at the client.

What you do

In a close team, you collaborate to handle daily security and privacy incidents and other inquiries from our clients. We do this in shifts during office hours; during your shift, you oversee the issues that come in, which vary in nature and complexity. You handle a significant portion yourself, and for more complex issues, you collaborate with the right colleagues. You work closely with the Security Officers and Privacy Officers within Northwave, learning how to establish and execute an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Within the client team, you take responsibility for the day-to-day security operation of the ISMS. You critically assess our service and make improvement proposals to ensure continuous improvement.

Because you get to be in contact with a lot of different companies no day is the same. You learn to quickly adapt between different clients and tasks and how to build long-term relationships with clients. Besides this you also maintain and improve your knowledge with help of the enthusiastic team of security specialists around you. This role serves as an excellent foundation for growing into a Security Officer, but transitioning to other roles within Northwave is also possible. We’d love to discuss the most suitable growth path with you.
