Associate Intercompany Export Specialist

The Job Our Fanwear business is looking for a Junior Product Designer (Apparel) to join our dynamic Product Design team, the creative hub of our organization. We strive to initiate compelling product stories from initial concept to consumer, whilst remaining efficient, consistent, accurate and true to the brands we represent. You will be part of the Product department, where we work closely with Product Management and Product Development.

The Junior Product Designer in this job will take responsibility for a number of our assets (Teams). You will support on all aspects of each range for the specified team(s), covering multiple product categories and also including graphic design and packaging. Some assets require in season SMU’s and additional ranges so there is always a new challenge. Your Mission

• Translate product briefings into conceptual designs that are relevant to the seasonal creative direction and stichd business objectives and sit within the (Asset) brand guidelines;
• Support in developing conceptual stories that can deliver a brand message to market;
• Actively research and develop innovative designs solutions that can be developed through to market that are viable and commercially relevant;
• Provide exact specifications for the development of the product lines, working closely with all product stakeholders (Designers, Developers, Line Plan Managers and Sourcing department);
• Supporting the Product Managers to communicate the concept to the sales team, wholesale partners and consumers;
• Work as a project coordinator to process and the customer’s requests;
• Ensure that the products are value engineered to deliver the best possible price value ratio for stichd and the brands;
• Be proactive and open to work independently on new product ideas;
• Maintain and keep up to date with market trends, compile visually inspiring reports with new ideas and opportunities and share these with the team;
• Work in the specified time frame and respect the deadlines;
• Show flexibility to adapt to a broad variety of briefs.

Your Talent

• Minimum bachelor (HBO) education in Fashion Design or relevant working experience in a related field (Apparel Design);
• You have a few years of design experience, preferably in a sports-lifestyle industry or international organization with global brands;
• A knowledge and understanding of our products and interest in Motorsport;
• You have technical textile knowledge or experience and knowledge of fabrics and trims;
• You are creative in terms of solution-thinking to meet the customer wishes;
• You are flexible and able to work in multiple projects at the same time;
• You are organized, ability to prioritize and can work well under time constraints and deadlines;
• You are proactive and a self-starter that is highly motivated to work in a rapid paced environment;
• Adobe creative suite programs (especially Illustrator and InDesign) and PLM have no secrets for you;
• You have strong communication skills and you have a good command English, both spoken and written.
