Reporting Level: Reports to RMG AME Manager

Context: The success of this role will be measured by a set of KPI’s focusing on Revenue Margin Growth (RMG) initiatives and capabilities development.

Input: Implemented # Revenue Margin Growth (“RMG”) initiatives. Developed, deployed & adopted RMG capabilities (e.g. tool, process, competencies, KPIs)

Output: GP (mass) & Revenue (mass), Individual RMG competency level and organisation RMG capability score



Purpose of the Job:
Together with the AME RMG Manager aim to achieve superior growth by building superior RMG capability across AME OpCos. This involves driving value through disciplined initiatives and price tracking, deploying organizational capabilities across dimensions such as people/org structure, competency, processes, data/tool, and anchoring change to establish an RMG way of working and value mindset.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Build Organizational Capabilities - People Competency:
    • Develop a regional roadmap to enhance people competency.
    • Coordinate individual competency assessments and prioritize competency development.
    • Plan and deploy capability roadmap roll-out.
    • Influence global teams to bridge priority competency gaps in the region.
  • Build Organizational Capabilities - Tools/Data/Analytics:
    • Deploy analytical solutions in OpCos.
    • Engage stakeholders and ensure adoption of solutions.
    • Consolidate insights at the regional level to support OpCo discussions.
  • RMG Organizational Capability - Processes/Governance:
    • Deploy process blueprints in OpCos.
    • Engage stakeholders and recommend adjustments based on local specificities.
  • Deliver Value - Initiative Tracking (Non-Price):
    • Embed RMG progress review in OpCos integrated transformation meetings.
    • Ensure proper tracking of RMG initiatives and consolidation of progress for reporting.
  • Deliver Value - Pricing Routine:
    • Deploy a regional pricing routine and support OpCos in its implementation.
    • Prepare materials and recommendations for regional pricing discussions.
  • RMG Change Management:
    • Contribute to or lead communication efforts related to RMG in the region.
    • Drive continuous improvement cycles and act as a role model and coach for RM initiatives.
  • RMG Deployment and Other Ad hoc Support:
    • Contribute to various strategic initiatives in the region.

  • Dealing with immature internal and external systems for data analytics.

  • Ensuring availability of people with the right competencies.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Education Requirements: University degree in Economics/Business Management or equivalent.
  • Language Requirements: Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Additional Skills Requirements:
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in commercial & analytics, preferably in FMCG or retail.
    • Strong strategic analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and experience with commercial and financial systems.
