As an Equipment scheduler you are responsible for managing all the technical requirements related to equipment to meet customer needs. You report to the Operations Planning Manager. Your key responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that all activities are performed in mind with the best customer experience possible.
  • Working with other schedulers (labor / fuel / transport) and customer service reps to ensure all activities are coordinated together and provide the customer with optimized activity coordination.
  • Quality and timely communication with Customer Service Reps to ensure they are kept informed of delivery / collection times and any changes or issues
  • Responsible for the selection of the most appropriate equipment that fulfils the needs of the customer.
  • Utilizing the Order Fulfilment technology to aid in the most appropriate equipment that also minimizes any additional costs to Aggreko.
  • Validation that the final equipment/package selection will fully meet the requirements of the customer.
  • Liaises with Customer Service Representatives and sales to ensure any variations are understood, communicated and recharged appropriately.
  • Allocates fleet to the job, allowing technicians to pick the identified fleet and prepare for the job
  • Responsible for the communication of any relevant sales instructions into preparation activities, including the communication of technical needs to technicians for job preparation.
  • Intercompany related activities
  • Working with other equipment schedulers to maximize equipment utilization across the region
  • Feed into strategic planning and equipment purchase and disposal decision making.
  • Responsible for the identification of rehire requirements, and the management of rehire process with supplier, including the prompt return of equipment at the completion of the hire.
  • Responsible for the Completion of related administration including POs, recharges & supplier invoices
You have the following experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a technical role
  • Technical background with experience in the provision of power and Temperature solutions with varying levels of complexity. PC literary in a Microsoft environment and ERP system
  • Proven Customer focus with a strong sense of urgency for creative solutions
  • Proven acute attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast paced stressful environment
  • Skilled at multi-tasking
  • Excellent inter-personal skills Collaborative style with decisive, results-oriented approach
  • Ability to self-direct and self-manage
