Skills, knowledge, experience required:
  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience;
  • Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidates particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency; that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post;
  • Experience as test engineer in interoperability events;
  • Experience in testing and configuring NATO Standards, like MIP, FFT, TDL, NVG, OTH-Gold, APP-11, AEDP17-18
  • Experience in using, and testing in virtualized environments;
  • Knowledge of ISTQB foundation principles.
Desirable:
  • Experience in testing NCIA applications like ICC, JTS, FAST, NCOP, LOGFAS, TOPFAS, LC2IS, INTELFS, CSD etc.;
  • Experience with MS-Exchange and MS SharePoint;
  • Experience as a tester or independent verification and validation engineer, during all phases of the project lifecycle;
  • Advanced certification in the area of testing and testing management.
Duties/role:
  • Being a part of a team that deals with planning, executing, and reporting on multinational Interoperability test events;
  • Supporting the operational community during exercises and mission preparation events;
  • Integrating into a multinational team of test directors with the knowledge of the specific domain(s) as requested for the profile;
  • Participating in interoperability testing events and leading planning and execution of events;
  • Participating in Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation (CIAV) Working Groups for the different initiatives, like FMN, NRF, or ARF;
  • Coordinating, planning, scheduling, executing, and reporting on Interoperability V&V activities;
  • Estimating the resources and financial requirements;
  • Producing the Event Test Plan and ensuring the plan is executed.
