A perfect place to stay for solo travelers and groups alike! Instead of hotelrooms they sleep in the original compartments, a real train experience! You’ll find us right next to train station Amsterdam Sloterdijk, close to train, tram, bus and subway connections.

Receptionist
Are you looking for a fun job with responsibility? Are you social, enthusiastic and service-minded? Then sounds like you’re a perfect fit to join our team! Flexible shifts and working hours; either morning shift: 7:00-15:00 and/or 15:00-23:00. Please let us know in your application which days/shifts you would be available.

Responsibilities:
Your main responsibility is to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests. You need to be a quick thinker and problem solver to deal with any issues which arise. Main tasks involve reception and bar work. Our bar and terrace are open to in-house guests and to outside guests as well. In addition to serving basic food and drinks, you will be responsible for all reception activities involving; checking in/out of guests, handling cash, communicating to guests and our OTA partners, offering tourist information and generally ensuring our guests have the best stay possible! While our great housekeeping team do their daily cleaning job you are also expected to perform regular cleaning and security checks.

Requirements:

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • A command of English (Dutch and other foreign languages are a plus)
  • Relevant experience in hospitality field or similar (HORECA) is a pre
  • Reliable, flexible, assertive, independent
  • Service minded and proactive attitude
  • You live in/around the Amsterdam area
