Role description
As a Technical Illustrator and Writer, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of new service concepts by creating and updating documentation and media for our service engineers in the field. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive the best care possible through clear and comprehensive service documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update end-user documentation in line with project deadlines.
- Adapt drawings to fit our templated document design (.stp to DWG, PDF format).
- Gather information from various sources to develop comprehensive service documentation.
- Coach team members to ensure high-quality content creation.
- Organize document reviews, handle comments, and obtain approvals.
- Manage document translation, localization, and final delivery.
- Maintain the documentation delivery and correction project plan.
- Drive continuous improvements in documentation quality based on customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or English language with technical expertise.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams and global organizations.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience with CAD drawing tools preferred.
- Background in a technical development environment is advantageous.
