Your job as Chief Accountant at Rijk Zwaan Egypt

As Chief Accountant you will report to the Managing Director Finance/HR of Rijk Zwaan Egypt. You will be a part of a small financial team in Egypt and you will supervise all daily financial and accounting activities in Egypt. Moreover, you will keep contact with the international financial team for Rijk Zwaan, based in the Netherlands. In this role you will be the main point of contact for the tax and government authorities as well as for the external financial auditors. Additionally your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the budget;
• Preparing the financial statements and year-end tax returns;
• Maintaining financial records and statements to ensure transactions are accurately recorded;
• Preparing accounting reports and all tax declarations;
• Processing and following up payments, including debtor’s collections.

In view of the international nature of this role, proficiency in English speaking and writing is essential. Additionally we can find the following on your cv:

• A University degree in Financial Studies or Accounting;
• At least 8-years relevant experience in a comparable job;
• Advanced MS Excel skills;
• Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in accordance with the Egyptian legislation.
