In addition to storage, we offer specialized services such as transportation, blast freezing, order picking, various container handling, tempering and related butter processing, palletizing, cross-docking, bonded warehousing, and more.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager.

Location: Lichtenvoorde, Varsseveld, and Nijkerk (Netherlands)

As a Business Development Manager in the Netherlands, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new customers, primarily in the food sector, and maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships. You will play a crucial role in achieving the companys sales objectives.

Your main responsibilities:

    Identify potential customers through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.

    Research and analyse market trends and competitors.

    Build strong relationships with existing customers and offer tailored solutions.

    Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations at trade shows or on-site.

    Use CRM tools to track leads and business and sales activities.

    Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and execute effective strategies.

    Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts, and prepare and review sales contracts.

    Work with the finance department for sales forecasting and reporting.

    Stay updated on the latest industry developments, market conditions, and customer preferences.

    Assist in the implementation of new customers and identify opportunities for process optimization and operational improvements.

    Manage strategic revenue optimization through dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and capacity management.

    Perform periodic and random checks of customer invoices to ensure all rates are accurate.

Profile, qualifications, and required skills:

    Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

    At least 8 years of relevant sales experience in a similar sector.

    Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    Excellent time management and organizational skills.

    Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

    Results-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

    Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

    Proficient in Dutch and English.
