What will you be doing as Lead Developer at Independer?
As a strong hands-on lead you’ll focus not only on content but also on directing, coaching and growing your development colleagues within the scrum team. Independer is in the middle of a true DevOps and agile transition. We have big plans for the transformation of our platform. And as Lead of the development team you are responsible for the rollout of this transformation within the team. Besides tackling the big key projects of 2024 together.
You can count on working with tools and techniques like C#, .NET 7 & 8, Angular 17, TypeScript (JavaScript), Nx and SASS. And with our migration to the cloud were focusing on Azure, App Services en YAML pipelines.
Specifically you focus on:
- The development and growth of colleagues - You identify and grow talents. You address underperformance and provide feedback. Together with the Head of IT & Development you take care of the personal growth of your colleagues. You for instance stimulate your colleagues in showing courage and seizing their freedom and responsibility.
- You prioritize based on impact - you make technical decisions based on business objectives. And you manage and adjust your team based on the impact you can make.
- You’re the link to the rest of the organization - you ensure close collaboration with IT Services, the Data department and the other Scrum teams. You influence decision making within teams and help teams choose the best technology solutions to support the long-term strategy. You facilitate rather than direct.
- Go-to-person - You focus on innovation and trends. You engage with technology improvements within and outside the team and create support for adoption. You like to share this knowledge with the rest of the organization.

What we are looking for in our new colleague?
As Lead Developer, you have a good understanding of internet technology and software development in general (C#, .NET, ASP, .NET MVC, OOP, SQL etc.). You have a good understanding of the development of software principles and web-related technologies and you have knowledge of Angular (17.0), web API, GIT, .NET Core, Azure and Continious Integration.
You also have experience managing a team and the HR responsibilities.

- A monthly gross salary between €5600 and €8000 euro, excl. vacation pay and yearly bonus
