Tasks

  • Verify information visually, using various microscopic equipment and the naked eye, to ensure the component matches manufacturer specifications
  • To receive and ship orders in a timely fashion
  • Unload all inbound shipments from various carriers
  • Open boxes, separate product and place in bins along with the waybill and pack list
  • Utilize our proprietary system to complete, in detail, the component inspection and receiving process
  • Examine components for physical defects
  • Verify Purchase Order/Sales Order requirements are met
  • Communicate with appropriate individuals when discrepancies arise
  • Complete internal /external labels per customer requirements
  • Document product and shipping condition through pictures
  • Package material in appropriate containers with sufficient padding and protection
  • Place required paperwork in/on shipments
Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
  • Experience with container and freight shipments is a plus
  • Component or product inspection experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the electronics distribution field is helpful
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
