We are on the lookout for a freelance Traffic Manager to support our team in Amsterdam from May 1st till end of May 2024 (40 hours per week).

Do you like taking ownership over planning and forecasting? Do you bear responsibility for plotting new and existing projects that are running at the same time? Do you have a passion for processes, planning, puzzling and are you a real team player for all different roles within an agency? We are looking for a driven Traffic Manager to strengthen our Digital Content & Campaigns team.

With your knowledge of how the process works on the agency side (from briefing, to production, to go-live) and your passion for planning and people management, you are able to help the creative/strategic/design team with their daily planning, but you are also proactive and think outside the box when it comes to tight deadlines and busy schedules.

Skills & Requirements

What you’ll do

Define resource allocations across teams (strategy planners, creatives, designers, copywriters, etc.) on projects in consultation with the Directors / leads of the different disciplines in accordance with their skill sets, previous experience, and availability
Managing resource conflicts and communication around shifting priorities with key stakeholders. Define and flag freelance needs to Operations Manager
Monitor day-to-day resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization and actively work with department leads and the Business team to address and solve any issues and underutilization
Ensure the maximum utilisation of the team while considering both team billability and team happiness
Report on team utilisation to Operations Manager
You ensure resources are only booked when covered by budget
You are able to judge if the right information and briefing is in place for the team to start a project
You are able to set up a topline planning based on a briefing and are able to challenge a producer on their planning
You are responsible for the overview of upcoming projects and project needs (together with Operations Manager)
You work with and report to the Operations Manager / Director
