About the Role


The Head of Sales, Northern Europe, is responsible for all Group new business sales activities, both to existing and new customers, in the market area and the development and rigorous execution of an integrated new business sales strategy to grow revenues and profitability in accordance with the Red Bee Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and own the new business sales strategy across the entire Red Bee business in the respective market area.
  • To own and deliver the new business sales targets: to own the overall new business sales targets and to allocate targets to the new business sales team.
  • To own and proactively manage the Red Bee sales pipeline: grow the pipeline and ensure the diligent and proactive management of pipeline opportunities.
  • To provide leadership to all Red Bee sales activities in the market area - to build, inspire, motivate and performance manage a world class global new sales team.
  • Oversee a learning culture where the business evaluates each customer engagement and ensures that each engagement informs a programme of continuous improvement to increase opportunity win rates to drive improved company financial performance.
  • Organize and ensure that a complete and relevant handover process exists when opportunities are won and passed to operational delivery.
  • Oversee the relationships in the market area between Sales, Pre-sales, Product, Sourcing, Operations and Commercial Management.
  • Lead and support in collaboration with marketing efficient market visibility within relevant events such as industry groups, talks and seminars, broadcast shows (IBC, NAB, etc.), etc.

Person Requirements

  • A leader, who leads new business activities by example.
  • Strong customer orientation, communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business, commercial and financial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • An excellent team player - putting the needs of the team first.
  • A dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences and stakeholders (internally and externally) at all levels of a business.
  • A proactive and participative individual who will get involved to the extent necessary to secure the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Highly resilient, flexible and accommodating under pressure.

Experience

  • Have at least 7 years’ experience in senior new business sales organisations in a dynamic, creative and or leading-edge technical business. Experience is likely to have been gained in a new media, telecoms or broadcast environment and include considerable solution selling.
  • Have a strong track record of new business sales wins.
  • Dutch language is mandatory
  • Sound knowledge and experience of Red Bee’s services portfolio.
