The opportunity

We are looking for Focussed Improvement (FI) Specialist to join our plant in Tilburg. On this position you will :

• Lead FI projects and coach FI project team to achieve plant gross saving targets.
• Use, teach and promote good project management principles using Goodyear tools and techniques.
• Ensure accuracy of reporting at project level in cooperation with Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Support Plant Manager to select appropriate projects. Lead and coordinate FI projects. Lead activities towards PO Pillar House initiatives.
• Support the implementation from the work place organization and production flow pillars.
• Take appropriate actions to support and maintain PO (Plant Optimization) Pillar structure. Support the Plant Manager to review and consolidate the monthly report. Assist when needed for projects to move forward.
• Provide sponsorship for cross-functional projects, meet regularly with team members to ensure FI tactics alignment.
• Provide focused improvement coaching and ensure that resources are available. Identify plant optimization training needs and organize focused improvement training with concerned team members.

To join our team you will need :

Education :

Engineering degree.

Languages :

Fluency in English is required. Willingness to learn Dutch.

Experience :

• Experienced in manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge and/or experience with Lean and 6 - Sigma interaction in a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of human related implementation issues
• Experienced as Project manager and/or project sponsor

Knowledge & Skills:

• Project Management
• Good knowledge in PO (Plant Optimization) Pillar House methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective communication, oral and written.
• Good motivating and coaching skills
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PPT. Minitab)
