WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR!

We are in search of a consumer-centric strategist who challenges conventional thinking and is comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing focus to our future direction. The successful candidate will have a track record of leading complex, multi-functional projects across a range of marketplace topics (direct to consumer retail, digital commerce, membership, wholesale distribution, online and offline experience, etc.).

You are a key member of the EMEA Strategy Leadership Team, and the EMEA Nike Marketplace (NMP) Leadership Team. Together with your team, you collectively drive the strategy agenda for Nike Direct and Marketplace Partners.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON!

We want you to represent EMEA Strategy and partner with Nike Direct & NMP VPs to define our future EMEA Marketplace strategy. Its a partnership between you, the business LT, in collaboration with critical business functions (finance, planning, merchandising, etc.) to define strategic choices regarding future growth, distribution choices and key enablers to evolve our ability to seamlessly serve the consumer, and drive forward the strategy.

You will be a thought-partner for the business, whilst taking individual ownership of driving sizable, cross-functional strategic project work, as well as the annual strategic planning process. In addition, you will have responsibility for team leadership and are encouraged to contribute to talent and functional development of the broader EMEA & Global Strategy teams.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting into the Head of EMEA Strategy, we see you having critical interfacing relationships with: Global Strategy, EMEA Strategy, Nike Direct, Nike Marketplace Partners, Finance, Marketing, Merchandising and DSM.

WHAT YOU BRING?

We seek a talent with extensive experience (+ MBA) of top-tier strategy consulting, complimented by experience in a high growth retailer (or related) industry who has effectively influenced senior leaders in previous roles, driving alignment and being seen as an inspiring leader with a perspective, where your input influences business decisions and outcomes. You have extensive direct people-management experience of ambitious professionals (goal-setting, mentoring & feedback, performance evaluation, career planning) and a strong team orientation. You are a consumer-centric, strategic innovator, comfortable energizing a team of strategists to write the future.

• Communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work with a high degree of independence, leading upward communication to executive leadership teams and top management and presenting to senior management
• Experience of operating at C-suite/Board level to develop large-scale strategic programmes.
• Track-record of complex multi-functional strategic project management
