The team Stock Control and Order Processing consists of 5 people and plays a central role in the organisation by creating all work for the operation. A clear understanding of the processes, the effect they have on each other and what action you and the team can take to make every day a success is of upmost importance. Clear and concise communication with the various departments is vital.

The first step is to ensure correct stock availability. This means having the right stock in the right quantities in the right place at the right time. To achieve this, you for instance initiate cycle counts and create stock movements based on sales history and forecasts. This in turn enables the team to convert the sales orders into actions for the operation in an efficient and effective way.

From the daily receipt of dozens of containers from Rotterdam to the multitude of trailers that depart daily, you and the team are responsible for the proper processing, so our customers receive the goods on time in full. Your Mission

• Differences in deliveries you pass on to our Purchase department. So you know exactly how many PUMA socks have been delivered this week: >1 million pairs per week;
• In case of damages, differences, or availability problems you contact your colleagues from the Quality department. You process these in the WMS, so the stock is up-to-date;
• Coordinating the cycle counts;
• Location management: making plans to move items to the right type of location. For instance in preparation of the new racing season;
• Replenishment: assignments for our reach truck drivers to bring full boxes to the Picking circuit;
• Follow up on special requests regarding stock management. For instance, a rush shipment for the Manchester City store;
• Managing the mailbox which receives questions and requests from colleagues from all over Europe and from suppliers. You process these quickly and accurately.
• Identifying possibilities and opportunities within the processes that affect your department. You share these with your supervisor, so that processes become a little better every day. On site there is a team of 6 Engineers who are working on these ideas every day;
• Closely collaborate and communicate with a team of enthusiastic colleagues and external stakeholders.

Your Talent

• You have an MBO level 4 degree in finance or administration;
• Experience with a WMS is an advantage;
• You are handy with Excel
• You can work accurately like no other;
• You can work well together with different colleagues;
• Because of our international colleagues and customers, you have a good command of the English language;
• You are available for at least 32 hours.
