As a CISO, you are responsible for the implementation and execution of security management. You take the lead and ensure that the client has a grip on security. You do this for multiple clients at the same time.


What you will do:

As a CISO, you ensure that the clients security management is guaranteed in a continuous cycle, you understand their biggest risks and draw up a treatment plan with the necessary measures. You do this from a holistic approach to security. You know when the client needs technical or behavioral measures in addition to their business-related measures. To this end, you work closely with our Bytes and Behaviour teams and you are a sparring partner for the clients management. The client can focus on its core business, because you guide them in the necessary security actions.


The team:

As a CISO, you are certainly won’t alone as you together with a team of experts, which means that you continue to develop your professional knowledge. Within the Security & Privacy office, there are various roles that, together with you, are directly responsible for a number of clients. In addition, you work closely with experts from other departments within Northwave to provide the client with an optimal information need and to experience integral service provision. You mainly operate at a tactical/strategic level and are the primary contact person and strategic partner for the client.

  • Knowledge of management systems, such as ISO27001
  • Knowledge of business processes
  • An independent and well-structured way of working
  • Networking skills
  • Proficiency in Dutch (Fluent) and English
  • CISM/CISSP/CISA/CIPM or related certifications are a plus, but not required
  • But the most important thing: passion for Security
