MES Business Solution Manager

Role Purpose: The BSM intakes MES demand, prepare CAPEX investments and ensure a smooth project execution. The BSM identifies and translates customer needs into system requirements in order to ensure that they are properly implemented. The BSM leads projects in the area of responsibility delivering the defined scope within timeline and budget. The BSM will be responsible to define and deliver the interfaces of the applications in the portfolio, liaising with other Lonza’s departments and business stakeholders Key Accountabilities and Duties:

• Lead CAPEX preparation and execution for the given area of responsibility.•
• Lead assigned project delivering the scope in the given time/budget.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of IT, Engineering and business initiatives, strategies and needs for the future and ensure OT initiatives are aligned to it.
• Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive Roadmap for Lonza to ensure that that Operations and Services needs are anticipated and exceeded.
• Remain aware of external best practice in the field and use this knowledge to develop and maintain the necessary capabilities within the site/region/function.
