Are you a detail-oriented accountant with a keen of statutory regulations and reporting requirements. If you excel at ensuring financial compliance while optimizing processes. Then Covestro is looking for you. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent is responsible for the accounting of the Covestro Netherlands entities in accordance with the local regulations. The main tasks of the incumbent are the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with international standards (IFRS) and Dutch GAAP. Furthermore, the incumbent is responsible for the operational and substantive preparation of the annual financial statements for this company under commercial law. Main Tasks

• You prepare and maintain ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules;
• You record, analyze and report accounting transactions ensuring the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles;
• You prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reports;
• You assist and participate in accounting projects
• You maintain and compile accounting documentation for accounting records.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• You have a Master Degree in finance and accounting;
• You have a Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting;
• You have a strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• You have a good knowledge of the use of SAP FI / CO as well as Analysis for Office;
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office;
• You have a very good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken.
