Director Market Planning, EMEA

Overview: GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Director of Market Planning for EMEA will be primarily responsible for managing the growth and optimization of the EMEA real estate portfolio. The Director will use data driven analytics to support the real estate team in optimizing store action plans. This role works across (Store Development, Strategy, Customer Experience, Finance, and Brand leadership teams to ensure cross-functional alignment on real estate strategic plans. The candidate must have exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Incorporating a data driven and systematic approach to decision making.
Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Market research, including review and analysis of national and regional market data, economic and market trends.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to develop hypotheses and build business cases to inform strategic tradeoffs
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support conclusions and influence decisions, including customer segmentation market prioritization and sizing, and competitive analyses, etc.
• Operate effectively across internal stakeholders including (Store Development, Strategy, Customer Experience, Finance, Brand leadership, and the executive leadership team).
• Synthesize analyses into compelling presentations and effectively communicate findings on key trends, insights, and implications while aligning stakeholders on action plans
• Translate strategy into specific business initiatives and develop tools to measure and evaluate performance
• Support the execution and scaling of real estate actions and initiatives

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business, economics, finance, real estate, or statistics
• 5-8 years experience with analytical role (Real Estate, Strategy, Data Analytics, Finance or Business Analysis)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Experience with PowerBI a plus
• GIS (Geographic Information System) knowledge, ArcGis Online, ESRI, QGIS, MyTraffic a plus
• Ability to interpret business data and translate into insightful recommendations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, polished presentation and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task as well as manage time effectively; establish priorities to deadlines.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter but able to work in a team environment
• Must be highly motivated and be able to work both independently and in a team environment
